Bidding

• Bids should ONLY be placed with the intent to purchase. Placing a bid creates a binding contract between you, the bidder and Harvard Media Auctions. If you have the highest bid, you are committing to a legally binding purchase agreement.
• Active bids will only be canceled under very limited circumstances, and Harvard Media Auctions reserves the right to approve or deny any request to remove a bid.
• It is the responsibility of the bidder to fully read the lot descriptions.
• If there is a high level of bidding activity near the auction’s end, the bidding time for that lot will be extended by three minutes. It is the bidder's responsibility to track whether they have been outbid.
• Harvard Media Auctions reserves the right to reject any bid, deny bidding privileges, or cancel a bidder’s participation at any time, at its sole discretion and without explanation. This includes, but is not limited to, cases involving disruptive behavior, failure to comply with terms, non-payment, or conduct deemed detrimental to the integrity of the auction.

Purchases

• All sales are subject to applicable taxes.
• If you are the successful bidder, your purchase will be automatically charged to the credit card you have registered with us. When multiple items are purchased, they will be processed as a lump-sum payment.
• If your payment is declined, we will resend the invoice daily for two business days with a link to update your credit card information. We will also attempt to process your payment using the credit card on file. If payment is not made within two business days, your purchase will be canceled, and your item(s) will be forfeited.
• Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with a link to your paid invoice. This invoice serves as your receipt and will be required for item pick-up.
• Item(s) are available for pick up at the designated location(s) starting 3 business days after the auction closes.
• Item(s) must be picked up within 60 DAYS of the auction close. After 60 days, any unclaimed items will be considered abandoned and may be resold, donated, or otherwise disposed of at Harvard Media’s discretion. No refunds or credits will be issued for unclaimed or abandoned items
• Auction lots will not be distributed without full payment.
• All sales are final.
• All items are accepted by the successful bidder “as is” at the time of pick-up or delivery. Harvard Media Auctions assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, or damage to items once they have been released to the bidder.
• All items are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be resold.

Additional Terms

• Harvard Media Auctions is not responsible for clerical errors, technical issues, or omissions.
• By participating in our auction, you agree to take full responsibility for any actions related to your account. You also agree to protect and hold Harvard Media Auctions—including its officers, employees, agents, licensors, and partners—free from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (such as legal fees) that arise from a violation of these terms or any misuse of your account, whether by you or someone using your account.
• Harvard Media Auctions reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy at any time, without prior notice. By using this website, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy as stated.
